Explore and Dive Bali in Style

Here at Abyss Ocean World we understand that there is nothing like liveaboard style diving; the ability to move from area to area rather than being based in one place, the unparalleled level of service from having your gear set up and washed for you, through to cabin crew who take care of your every need on board.

Do you want to experience liveaboard style diving in Bali? While Bali is not suitable for liveaboard vessels that doesn’t mean that you have to miss out on the other benefits!

Comfortable and easy access to the dive deck

Our Bali “liveaboard” style safari’s take you around all of Bali’s best dive locations with all logistics taken care of and you’ll experience the same top class service from Abyss Ocean World on land as you would at sea.

Our professional team are service driven and will make sure your needs are met before you even knew you had them. All logistics are organized by us and we’ll only take you to Bali’s best dive sites and ensure you stay in comfortable accommodation, experience fantastic dining and we’ll include some of Bali’s highlights on land too – just as you would make trips ashore from a vessel.

Our most popular Bali liveaboard style safari is our Bali Nomadic safari which takes you from our stunning home base in Pemuteran in North West Bali (including diving in the world-famous Menjangan Marine Park), over to Tulamben, Amed, Padang Bai, Nusa Penida, Tepekong and Mimpang for world class dive sites –  stress free.

Incredible sigthing all around Bali

In Menjangan you’ll dive the coral walls around the island and be impressed by the diverse marine life. Tulamben on Bali’s east coast is home to the WWII USAT Liberty shipwreck which is where you’ll find resident bumphead parrotfish, pygmy seahorses and incredible macro-life. As we explore more of Bali’s east coast you’ll dive in both Amed and Padang Bai which offer some of the most marine-rich dive sites in Bali, abundant reef fish, passing reef sharks, turtles and stunning reefs.

Are you hoping to dive with BIG fish? Don’t worry – No Bali liveaboard style safari would be complete without a trip to Nusa Penida. Nusa Penida has year round manta ray sightings along it’s remote south coast and we’ll stop by Crystal Bay and the North coast dive sites in the hope of catching a glimpse of the seasonal mola mola that visit the area from July through to October.

You’ll also dive the rocky islets of Gili Tepekong and Mimpang which have adrenaline pumping currents, rugged underwater scene-scapes and are the best place in Bali for shark sightings.

During this incredible liveaboard style  Nomadic safari you’ll be well looked after by our team which means you won’t be meeting new guides along the way. Just as on a liveaboard, your guide will be with you as you travel around so you won’t have to keep explaining your preferences, weights or diving experience. Your gear will always be set up for you just as you like it and you’ll never have to carry your bags.

One of the highlights of any liveaboard is the trips to shore for trekking, visiting rural villages, meeting with the locals and absorbing some of the culture. Bali has no shortage of temples to visits and colorful ceremonies are a daily occurrence. You’ll be mesmerized by Bali’s mountainous landscapes, lush vegetation, stepped rice paddies, tropical birds and wildlife. This is all part of your adventure and it’s all arranged for you so you just relax, enjoy the journey and dive, dive, dive!
