Great place for diving, Great , professional and friendly Staff !!! Al dives ( 23 ) was perfectly prepared executed. Choose them and you will not regret this . There is no disadvantages !!!

By far the best dive-school in Pemuteran (or even whole Bali!). Did a refresher and 2 fundives. All the staff is very professional. Safety comes first but it doesn’t make the fun less! All the equipment has a high quality which makes you way more comfortable underwater. Besides all of this they also genuinely care about the environment of the ocean.10/10 book your dive!

I Absolutely recommend Abyss Ocean World. The dive sites are the most beautiful in Bali. The dive center is professional, the guides are attentive and experienced, the facilities are comfortable and the logistics are perfect. The hotel was also to our liking. Manjangan island offers the best dives in Bali, and Abyss Ocean World is absolutely the way to discover it.

Wir machten einen Tagesaufflug auf die Menjangan-Insel. Wir wurden im HotelPier mit dem Boot abgeholt.Zum Tauchen und Schnorcheln waren wir erstklassig betreut!Man war um unser Wohl sehr bemüht und alles war wunderbar.Persönliche Wasserflaschen und einen super Lunch wurde uns geboten. Absolut empfehlenswert

Sehr professionelle TauchbasisIch war zwei Wochen vor Ort zum Tauchen und habe die Ausflüge mit der Tauchbasis sehr genossen. Professionelles, entspanntes Tauchen inklusive Ausflug zur Secret Bay als vor Ort der Hafen aufgrund von starkem Seegang geschlossen war.Würde sofort wieder mit den Tauchguides tauchen gehen.

Hands down the best diving experience I’ve had so far. West Bali is tranquil and beautiful, perfect for my solo diving/restorative trip. Abyss Ocean World has been professional, friendly, and very helpful in every way. I do think I will see them again soon!

Good and safe guiding, good lunch, and well organized at a competitive cost. Booked accommodation and transit from Denpasar through them as well. Highly recommend this shop for day trips to Menjangan island, Pemuteran Bay, and Purajeti.

Superb Dive Shop. Not related to Abyss in Amed.The staff were very professional and knowledgeable.They provided computer for me and the equipment was top notch.Booked diving and snorkeling with them.They were also responsive a week after the dive with follow up questions for the log.This is the best experience I have had in bali and I highly recommend them.

With 400+ dives, I highly recommend Abyss Ocean World. Unlike most shops that mix skill levels, Abyss curates trips specifically for Advanced Divers, ensuring high-quality dives. Even in the rainy season, the owner honored my prepaid Menjangan plan despite being the only diver. I saw spectacular schools of fish and appreciated the focus on safety and unique, experiences. No beginner groups to hold you back—just professional, expert-led diving.

I usually never write Google reviews, but this time I really wanted to maybe it gives someone out there a bit of courage who is doubting themself or feeling scared like I did.I didn’t want to let my motion sickness take away my love for the ocean.And with my quite strong ADHD, I was honestly afraid I wouldn’t be able to follow all the instructions right.Debby, my instrktor, took me and all my worries seriously from the very first moment.She gave me so much safety and calmness with her loving, patient and very clear way of teaching.There were moments where I had to throw up underwater, or when I just couldn’t put my gear together properly on the boat… and Debby always stayed calm. She guided me through those moments without any pressure, just steady support. Somehow she helped me move past that point of sickness, and it felt really healing.In the end I even managed to finish my Open Water Diver license — theory and all. I still can’t really believe it.What I also loved is that they don’t only care about customers, but also about the ocean and the locals. Abyss really values Balinese culture I was even invited to a ceremony to bless the newly built roof, which was super special to witness.The shop staff are incredibly sweet and welcoming.Everyone is young, lively, and has a great sense of humor and a Good Soul!!!The two shop ladies are also very warm, competent, and inviting. so lovely.Best coffee in Bali!!Yes, they might be a little bit more expensive than other dive shops around, but they employ only Balinese staff, pay them a voluntary minimum wage + tips, and invest in training for the locals.For me, that’s a really important reason to choose a dive center like this.Thank you, Debby. Absolutely amazing dive centre! Spent three days diving with the team, both at Biorock and out at Menjangan Island. The team are amazingly skilled, friendly, and the safety standards are extremely high (and lunch is delicious!!)My 9yo son even got to do a "Bubblemaker" experience with Debby, for his first time diving, and she was spectacular with him.Thank you everyone, particularly my great dive buddies Debby, Didi and Ari - you are all wonderful, and I 110% recommend Abyss Ocean World to everyone!

I spent 4 days diving with Ari and Abyss in October 2025 for my PADI Open Water and Advanced Open Water qualification. It was a wonderful experience in every way. First of all, Ari and all his colleagues are really nice (but everyone in Bali is nice!) and fun and relaxing to spend time with. The equipment and boat were very good, and Ari was a patient and thorough instructor as we went through the many things I needed to do to. Everything was easy to arrange by email, and I stayed at a beautiful but inexpensive resort nearby, all walkable. Each morning Ari picked me up, or sometimes I could just walk a couple minutes to the boat. It was beautiful, fun, and safe. Pemuteran enjoys a well deserved reputation for beautiful coral and fish, and calm waters. Truly excellent for a beginner like me. After getting my qualification, I went on a group scuba diving trip, and everyone thought I had been diving for a long time, thanks to the excellent instruction. Highly recommended.

Great company - very organised and communicative before and the boat was great, the dive masters were great and all round excellent service. Divemaster Kedek was excellent and also great to see them picking up rubbish as they go. Cute little shop too.
