Program
Arrival in Denpasar, Bali. Spend the night at The Vira hotel.
Didn’t get enough of the area? Want to dive and dive again at Cristal Rock or Shot Gun? We are still around to fully enjoy those seamounts and reefs. There is a superb night dive waiting for us at Gili Lawat Darah.
Let’s travel to Horseshoe Bay on Rinca Island to experience four great dives and then dive Cannibal Rock, another must-do seamount of the Lesser Sunda chain.
Usually after breakfast, we will say our goodbyes to the boat crew and head back to Denpasar to spend our last night at the Vira Hotel.
Fly to Labuan Bajo and get welcomed onboard the Aurora. Equipment setup, briefing and a first dive in the early afternoon a few miles from the port.
Linta Strait calls to us for some great drift diving. We will look closely at sea conditions to make sure we don’t miss Batu Bolong, a must in the Komodo National Park.
Manta Alley…did we say “manta”? Spend three dives surrounded by them all.
Bye, Indonesia. See you again soon!
Two of the most beautiful seamounts of Komodo are waiting for us at Gili Lawat Laut (“island facing the sea” in Indonesian). We’ll encounter reef sharks, mantas and many other reef fish.
A little trek to have a view over Komodo and Rinca Island and then some great dives today in the region of Padar. Be ready for macro! Our dive guides will accompany us to find some great frogfish, nudibranchs, different decorative crabs and much more.
An early-morning dive before making a little visit to a few Komodo dragons. We’ll then cruise back to Labuan Bajo.

Accommodation and Transport
Diving Sites
Gili Lawah Laut
Be cautious of current. Famous for Crystal and Castle Rocket, the area allows us to encounter reef sharks, turtles, barracudas, giant trevallies and a healthy reef. Gili Lawah Darat also offers us a night dive where Spanish dancers are ready to give us a Flamenco show.
Linta Strait
Drift diving along coral gardens and walls or simply diving Batu Bolong, a well-know seamount of the area. Be perfectly placed at the split of the current to enjoy the action of barracudas, napo-leons and sharks that are feeding and chasing.
Padar
Padar is known to macro fanatics as an island famously surrounded by an unmatched diversity of nudibranchs. Encounter turtles, frogfishes, crabs, nudibranchs and much more.
Horseshoe Bay
This area is situated in the southern part of the national park and can often be colder due to the Indian Ocean. Dive sites such as Torpedo Valley and Cannibal Rock will satisfy every bubble maker with bio-diversity and colourful reefs.
Teluk Langkoi
Manta Alley is a cleaning station where plenty of mantas are usually stationed. You can’t get tired of watching them feeding, being cleaned and dancing in front of us.
