Days 1 - 3
Day 1: Welcome to Bali! The first night is in Tuban, the southwest peninsula of Bali, to recharge and relax.
Day 2 – Morning briefing and introductions before traveling to the northwest part of Bali. After lunch, we will head to our diving boat to meet the crew and do our first check-out dive.
Day 3 – Diving the walls of Menjangan Island in the Bali Barat National Park. Surface intervals will be spent exploring the island, a temple and meeting the native deer population.
Days 4 - 6
Day 4 – Traditional market, viewpoint and lunch in the national park before diving on a gorgeous, untouched wall. Our first night dive: a coral reef of Pemuteran or a dusk dive with mandarin. Kayaking in the mangroves is also available between dives and for non-divers.
Day 5 – Dive the reefs of Pemuteran Bay before a relaxing afternoon. Let’s meet for a visit to Pura Pulaki at sunset, learn about the religious traditions of the local people and enjoy a traditional dinner in the village.
Day 6 – An introduction to muck diving before heading to the East part of Bali. A pearl farm, temple and lunch wait for us along the coast before arriving in Amed.
Days 7 - 9
Day 7 – Be prepared to wake up early to dive the famous USAT Liberty wreck and a couple other dive sites at the base of the Mount Agung volcano. Visit a local salt production and enjoy a drink at sunset with us.
Day 8 – Dive the numerous bays of Amed and still have time to get a massage and rest by the pool before an incredible night dive in the area.
Day 9 – Two early-morning dives on the southern tip of Amed before lunch. On the way to Candidasa, visit mesmerizing rice paddies and even a royal palace.
Days 10 - 13
Day 10 – Dive in Amuk Bay and Tepekong before the Markisa crew drops us for a swim to a gorgeous, white-sand beach. There, we’ll spend the afternoon playing in the waves. Night dive planned in Padang Bay.
Day 11 – Using a speedboat we’ll dive in Nusa Penida to encounter manta rays and if we are lucky get close to the heaviest bony fish, a mola mola.
Day 12 – Want more? Visit a coffee plantation, national temple or a royal palace before arriving for a free afternoon in Ubud to do some last-minute shopping or play with some monkeys at the monkey temple. Spend a night in Tuban where your equipment will be awaiting for you clean and dry on your balcony.
Day 13 – Bye-bye and farewell!
