9 Nights Liveaboard + 2 Nights Bali

This 9 nights cruise will take you to 5 different areas of Komodo National Park and show you the highlights of this part of the Lesser Sunda Chain. With around 20 guided dives and 3 land excursions this liveaboard experience will not miss on giving you the opportunity to encounter Komodo dragon, mantas, reef sharks and macro bio-diversity.

We have included the first and last night stay in Bali with optional activities on the last day before saying goodbye to Indonesia. All dive will be conducted from the tender boat of the Aurora and there friendly crew. This Komodo 9 nights liveaboard experience is suitable for Advanced divers with a minimum of 50 logged dives. For non divers who wish to join, we won’t miss to take you snorkelling on mesmerising reefs.

Program

Day 1

Arrival in Denpasar, Bali. Night at The Vira hotel.

Day 4

Did not get enough of the area? Want to dive and dive again at Cristal Rock or Shot Gun? We are still around to enjoy a maximum those seamounts and reefs.Superb night dive awaiting for us at Gili Lawat Darah

Day 7

Let’s travel to Horseshoe Bay on Rinca Island to experience 4 great dives and dive Cannibal Rock, an other must do seamount of  the Lesser Sunda chain.

Day 10

Usually after breakfast, we will say our goodbyes to the boat crew and head back to Denpasar to spend our last night at The Vira Hotel.

Day 2

Flight to Labuan Bajo and welcome on board Aurora. Equipment set ups, briefing and first dive in the early afternoon a few miles from the port.

Day 5

Linta Strait calls us for some great drift dive. We will look closely to the sea conditions to make sure we don’t miss Batu Bolong, a must in the Komodo National Park.

Day 8

Manta alley … Did we say Manta? Spend 3 dives surrounded by them all.

Day 11

Bye Bye Indonesia, See you again soon!

Day 3

Two of the most beautiful seamount of Komodo are awaiting for us at Gili Lawat Laut which means in Indonesian <<The island facing the sea>>. Encounter more reef sharks, mantas and much more reef fishes.

Day 6

A little trek to have a view over Komodo and Rinca islands and some great dives today in the region of Padar. Macro lens and souls of critters hunter be ready; our dive guides will accompany us to find some great frogfish, nudibranchs, different decorative crabs and much more.

Day 9

Early morning dive before giving a little visit to a few Komodo dragons. Cruise back to Labuan Bajo.

Situated 5 minutes from the airport and in the heart of Kuta, this hotel offer you a quiet and relaxing environment around its crystal clear and inviting pool . Shopping, restaurant and the beach are situated a few steps out of this hotel.
Aurora Liveaboard
Aurora Liveaboard
Built in 2009, this 42 meters in lenght traditional wooden Phinisi style liveaboard is large enough to comfortably accommodate 14 guests with an exceptional level of charm and service. Aurora has eight cabins with ensuite bathroom, hot water and a/c. The main area of the boat consist of; front deck with the diving station, a living and dinning room, a sun deck and an open air lounge in the rear. The engine room consists of a 420hp primary engine which allows the boat to have a cruising speed of 8 - 10 knots, 2 generators, and a complete modern navigational and communication systems. The diving equipment includes emergency O2, two compressors with Nitrox available for certified divers (with surcharge). For the diving and land activities 3 speed boats and several kayaks are available during the voyage.

Diving Sites

Gili Lawah Laut

Be cautious of current. Famous for Crystal and Castle Rocket, the area allows us to encounter; reef sharks, turtles, barracudas, giant trivallies and a mesmerising healthy reef. Gili Lawah Darat also offers us a night dive where Spanish dancers are ready to offers us a flamingo show

Linta Strait

Drift diving along coral gardens and walls or simply to join a well know seamount of the area name Batu Bolong. Be perfectly placed at the split of the current to enjoy the action of barracudas, napo-leons and sharks feeding and chasing.

Padar

Known for macro fanatics as this island is famous to be surrounded by a diversity of nudibranch rarely equalled. Encounter urtles, frogfishes, crabs, nudibranches, and much more.

Horseshoe Bay

Situated in the south of the National park and can often be colder due to the Indian Ocean, the dive sites such as Torpedo Valley and Cannibal Rock will satisfy every bubble maker in terms of biodi-versity and colourful reefs.

Teluk Langkoi

Manta Alley is a cleaning station where not only one nor two mantas are usually stationed there but multiple … Can’t be tired of watching them feeding, being cleaned and dance in front of us.
